A historic industrial building full of charm: 7.50 m ceiling height, open architecture and plenty of daylight. A venue your guests will remember — a world away from the usual club hall.
In the Basel tri-border area
300 m from the Swiss border, right on tram line 8 (Riedlistrasse/Kesselhaus stop), close to the A5 motorway and with parking on site. Your guests arrive easily from Germany, Switzerland and France.
Frequently asked questions about the event room
How big is the room?
The room offers 48 m² of floor space with a 7.50 m ceiling — room for up to 25 people, depending on the seating setup.
How many guests is the event room suitable for?
Room L holds up to 15 people, Room XL up to 25 people. For larger formats, feel free to get in touch — we will check what is possible.
Is catering available for events?
Yes. From a coffee break with pastries to a complete midday lunch, we organise the catering. In addition, there is a restaurant with a daily lunch menu right in the Kesselhaus.
What technology is available?
Can I also celebrate in the evening or at the weekend?
Yes. The room is bookable 7 days a week — including Saturdays and Sundays. Please note: the bizzcenter is an office building, so music is possible at moderate room volume — somewhat louder in the evening by prior arrangement. The room is not suitable for parties with loud music.
What seating layouts are possible?
Seminar-style seating, theatre-style seating or open floor space for standing receptions — the conversion fee for alternative seating layouts is optionally bookable.
Is parking available for my guests?
Yes. Parking spaces are located directly in front of the building and can optionally be booked at a daily rate of EUR 6,- plus VAT. 90 minutes free of charge.
How do my guests reach the venue by public transport?
Tram line 8 from Basel, Riedlistrasse/Kesselhaus stop — right outside the door. EuroAirport Basel is about 15 minutes away by car.
How much does the event room cost?
Room XL (up to 25 people) costs EUR 129,- for a half day or EUR 199,- for a full day, plus VAT. Room L (up to 15 people) from EUR 99,- for a half day.
