Learning in the Kesselhaus
A historic industrial building full of charm: 7.50 m ceiling height, open architecture and plenty of daylight. A setting where courses leave more of an impression than in a drab seminar room.
In the Basel tri-border area
300 m from the Swiss border, right on tram line 8 (Riedlistrasse/Kesselhaus stop), close to the A5 motorway and with parking on site. Your participants arrive easily from Germany, Switzerland and France.
Frequently asked questions about the course room
How big is the room?
The room offers 48 m² of floor space with a 7.50 m ceiling — room for up to 25 people, depending on the seating setup.
What technology is available in the course room?
Projector, screen, whiteboard and high-speed internet (WIFI 5/6 + LAN) are provided. A facilitation kit is also available on request.
Can I book the room for a whole course series?
Yes. Many course instructors book fixed weekly slots. With the 10-session card you save 15% on all bookings.
What seating layouts are possible?
Seminar-style seating, theatre-style seating or open floor space — the conversion fee for alternative seating layouts is optionally bookable.
Is catering available for my participants?
Yes. From the coffee break to a midday lunch, we are happy to organise the catering. In addition, there is a restaurant with a daily lunch menu right in the Kesselhaus.
Can I also teach in the evening or at the weekend?
Yes. The room is bookable 7 days a week — including Saturdays and Sundays.
Is parking available?
Yes. Parking spaces are located directly in front of the building and can optionally be booked at a daily rate of EUR 6,- plus VAT. 90 minutes free of charge.
How do my participants reach the course room by public transport?
Tram line 8 from Basel, Riedlistrasse/Kesselhaus stop — right outside the door. The Swiss border is only 300 m away.
How much does the course room cost?
From EUR 39,- per hour for Room L (with the 10-session card). Half day from EUR 99,-, full day from EUR 159,- plus VAT.
